…769) The user's requested edit went through the same lossy save pipeline as an earlier pass this session (headers, bold, tables, and a code fence stripped again, plus a real word-level corruption: "coding filed as" became "coding field as"). Discarded that save and applied the intended change — British to American spelling throughout, 79 words across 32 distinct forms (behaviour/behavior, organise/organize, licence/license, artefact/artifact, catalogue/catalog, analogue/analog, and their inflections) — directly to the clean version, verified word-diff-clean against the corrupted save so nothing else moved.
