Prevent mid-flight black screen by adding screen-off warning

By default, the HDZero2 goggle turns off the screen after a while. The user is warned by sound and screen dimming.

If a user is unaware of this feature (as I was), they might ignore dimming warning and sound (as I did) and then get a black screen mid-flight (as I did).

Please implement a textual warning indicating that the screen is about to turn off, so the user can react and prevent it from turning off.

I think the bigger issue here, if your description is accurate, is why do the goggles turn the screen off at all. If there is video data coming from the video decoder, the feature should not activate. Although if the goggles are not receiving a video signal, then it makes sense to conserve battery.

As far as I remember this feature is basically a screensaver: I think it's there to prevent burning the OLED while the video signal is there but the goggles are not moving: for instance, while you test your setup on your desk and forget to turn the goggles off. In my case I was sitting quite still with my head pressed against the tree: goggles did not move enough so the screen server kicked in.

yeah, smashing a $500 drone into the tree because the goggles want to preserve the OLED screen is a bit of an expensive trade off though :D Perhaps detecting a static display where there are no updates is possible in order to know when to do it versus when not to

I think the most important thing is to read the instruction manual.
