Mint 22.3
Keyboard English (EUA,int, with dead keys)

The cecedil key ' + key c (c+') now is ć

In the previous version work correctly key ´ + key c (c+') is cedilla

The same happens with the ' + C turns Ć

If I use the Timeshift to return for the previous version, all work again, but if I update again to 22.3 the bug ocorrus again.

Hi @gandb,

As "EUA" means "Estados Unidos da América", I guess the "(US, intl., with dead keys)" variant is the one you're looking for:

• go to [LM-menu\Preferences\Keyboard]
• check: the "Keyboard" panel is shown
• click the [Layouts] tab
• click the [Add] button
• type "dead" in the search field
• click "English (US, intl., with dead keys)"
• click the [Add] button
• click the [X] close button in the right-above corner of the panel

• click the [us1] button in the system tray (left to the network icon)
• click "English (US, intl., with dead keys)"
• check: the button now shows [us2]
• open XED text editor

To compose "ć" (c-accent-aigu):

• press and release the ['] (singleQuote) key
• check: a "'" character is shown, with an UnderScore (_)
• press the [C] key
• check: a "ć" character is shown

To compose "ç" (c-celilla):

• press and hold the [Alt Gr] key
• press the [,] (comma) key
• release the [Alt Gr] key
• check: a "ç" character is shown

Using the "English (UK, intl., with dead keys)" variant, the ['],[C] sequence does not work, but the [Alt Gr]+[,] sequence does work. There are four other "English (* dead keys)" variants in the list you can try.

Workaround: go to ASCII table, press [Ctrl]+[F], type "cedilla" to find "Latin small letter c with cedilla". You can copy/paste the "ç" character from the "Char" column. You can also Google for "U+00E7".
